Leadbelly - Where did you sleep last night

Huddie Ledbetter, a.k.a. Lead Belly, was an American folk and blues musician notable for his strong vocals and twelve-string guitar.

In New York City, February 1944, he recorded what is arguably his most familiar song "Where Did You Sleep Last Night?". The song became particularly well known 50 years later when covered by Nirvana in their iconic 1994 MTV Unplugged session. Today the lyrics are immortalised in pink neon lights at Leadbelly's Bar & Kitchen, London.
